A great clinic with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I worked with Paul and it has been a fantastic experience. He is very detailed and is always willing to explain the design of his program of exercises and treatment. Very personable and very professional. I am already seeing big improvements.

I started seeing Paul in February of 2025 for a sports injury that resulted in a separated shoulder. I have seen significant improvement since then with a combination of dry needling and targeted exercises. This would not have been achievable on my own. I would recommend Toronto Physiotherapy and Paul to anyone that needs PT in the future.

I saw Paul Messner for several weeks for a hip issue. The dry needling treatments and the exercises really helped the symptoms. I went from almost constant pain and discomfort to almost none. Also the exercises and advice to start strengthening the muscles around the hip joint were great. Paul is very skilled at quickly assessing and identifying issues and the right treatment. He quickly assessed and identified another issue I had with tendonitis. I would definitely recommend. (One area for improvement is the online booking system is a bit cumbersome, but anytime I emailed or called the front desk they were quick and helpful.)

I was lucky enough to be treated by Paul Messner at Toronto Physiotherapy. I had what seemed like a pinched nerve that ran down my arm causing numbness in my little finger. He listened to my issue, asked questions and pinpointed through his expertise what he thought was my issue. Through his specialty of dry needling for multiple sessions, my arm is now completely back to normal. I was so relieved to find this issue, that seemed like a possible chronic problem, to be resolved with his therapy and the exercises he prescribed. I am so grateful and delighted to know Paul is just blocks away should I need his expertise in the future.

I am thrilled with the result I have had at Toronto Physiotherapy on the Danforth. My physiotherapist Paul Messner is extremely skilled and wonderfully empathetic. In a few sessions he has transformed my aching and non- functional hand back to almost normal. His pain management (dry needling), guidance about exercises with various tools and managing activity have made a huge difference in my work, home and flute- playing life. I also would like to mention Mary the receptionist is a lovely person who is efficient and kind. Thank-you!
