Ruby Soho turned out to be an unexpectedly lively and fun spot. Located on a bustling street, the energy around the place really adds to its appeal. When we visited, the bar was packed with people, creating a vibrant and social atmosphere that instantly put us in a good mood. It’s clearly a popular hangout, especially on weekends, and for good reason. We went there for a casual night out and had some beers with friends — the vibe was just right. It wasn’t overly loud, but definitely energetic enough to keep things fun. The staff, especially the waitresses, were attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. While we didn’t try much of the food, the drinks were reasonably priced and the overall service was solid. It’s the kind of place you can drop into without much planning and still end up having a great night. Overall, Ruby Soho is a great choice if you’re looking for a lively bar to kick back with friends. Perfect for weekend outings, good drinks, and a laid-back yet buzzing atmosphere. I’d definitely go back — it’s now on my list of casual go-to weekend spots.

Great atmosphere for happy hour🍹 Ruby Soho has a cozy patio right off King St. Our waitress Daniela was kind and attentive. We order the spritzes which weren’t too bubbly and the General Soho wings. They were the right amount of crispy and not too sweet. I’d love to come back here.

We visited this place rather occaisonally, without any preliminary research. The lady who took care of us was quite nice and polite. The food was really good. The atmosphere was quiet and we were able to enjoy our brunch.

Ruby SOHO is such a vibe. Great atmosphere; it’s a cozy, yet spacious restaurant, and there were videos made by local artists playing on the bar TVs. This isn’t really a family restaurant but we were staying nearby and decided to try it. Everyone at the restaurant was so friendly and accommodating. Our server, and several others, were super sweet with our toddler. They brought out stickers and colouring supplies for him! The wings and poutine were so good.
