2 weeks agoRuby Soho turned out to be an unexpectedly lively and fun spot. Located on a bustling street, the energy around the place really adds to its appeal. When we visited, the bar was packed with people, creating a vibrant and social atmosphere that instantly put us in a good mood. It’s clearly a popular hangout, especially on weekends, and for good reason. We went there for a casual night out and had some beers with friends — the vibe was just right. It wasn’t overly loud, but definitely energetic enough to keep things fun. The staff, especially the waitresses, were attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. While we didn’t try much of the food, the drinks were reasonably priced and the overall service was solid. It’s the kind of place you can drop into without much planning and still end up having a great night. Overall, Ruby Soho is a great choice if you’re looking for a lively bar to kick back with friends. Perfect for weekend outings, good drinks, and a laid-back yet buzzing atmosphere. I’d definitely go back — it’s now on my list of casual go-to weekend spots.

5 months agoVisited for brunch, and everything about this place was great for me. I appreciate all the little details in their restaurant decor: appreciate the lights pointed down on centre at the tables below, down to the coasters with little messages on them for your water glass. They have Skee-Ball beside the bar. I noticed they even offer portable chargers for rent at the front. It’s very cozy, and it’s not hard to feel at home during your visit. The staff are very friendly and attentive with making sure you have what you need. Had the Soho Grande, which was a good variety of different dish components: bacon, sausage, peameal bacon, toast, pancakes, eggs, and even cornbread. It’s definitely a filling dish and was more than I could finish on my own.

2 weeks agoRuby SOHO is such a vibe. Great atmosphere; it’s a cozy, yet spacious restaurant, and there were videos made by local artists playing on the bar TVs. This isn’t really a family restaurant but we were staying nearby and decided to try it. Everyone at the restaurant was so friendly and accommodating. Our server, and several others, were super sweet with our toddler. They brought out stickers and colouring supplies for him! The wings and poutine were so good.

5 months agovery pleasantly surprised for a spontaneous happy hour visit! the drinks are delicious—especially recommend the espresso martini. the service is impeccable, friendly and just the right amount of attentive, and the food was so delicious we ordered twice as much as we planned to (dreaming of those shrimp). great ambiance as well, moody yet cozy and the bizarre juxtaposition of stained glass with skee-ball strangely works.

a month agoThe food was so good we almost ate the plates. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the vibe was just as amazing as the dishes. We ordered Classic Beny and Avocado toast with Mimosa. Can’t wait to come back for another round. 🔥🍴✨
