2 weeks agoDelicious food and very unique options. I generally prefer meat but the vegetarian options were the favourites by far. The staff are attentive and professional. Very friendly. The portions are very decent too. Chickpea fritters were the most tasty in my opinion. The burger was very heavy on the meaty side. A little too gamey actually. Everything else we had was nice.

3 weeks agoOur server was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciate the care he took with my partner's vegetarianism to make sure she could eat everything she wanted. We ordered the chopped salad, burger, kabocha ravioli, and custard tart. Everything was delicious! The salad and burger especially were some of the best things I've ever eaten! We also got a few cocktails as part of their tiki hour. They were really good, and quite strong so it feels like you're getting your money's worth! Overall, can't recommend this place enough. Keep up the amazing work!

2 months agoThe set up and design I s very rustic, but I think this sets a great canvas against which to sever the food .. all of which was nowhere near rustic. The service was attentive, though sometimes a bit too attentive, but always well spirited and aimed to help. Had the regular tasting menu, which is a sample of their staples. The burger and the ice cream sandwiches were my favourite, but I enjoyed each course.

3 months agoIt was a nice place to have dinner with the family. You have to make reservations, especially for big groups, as seats fill fast. The service was quite good, and they would check up on you just enough to meet your needs, but not too much to be a bother. Their dishes were quite tasety and were served in a good amount. Dessert choices were the best. You may have to visit them frequently as the menu changes depending on the season.

2 months agoHaving been to SARA as well, I'd say this place is more of a casual atmosphere and the food is close but not quite the same in quality. Did the classic tasting menu, highlight was the octopus and maybe chickpea fritter was kind of interesting. Do not order extra dishes with the tasting menu, you will definitely be full afterwards. The cream cheese anglaise for the sticky bun is very good but otherwise did not particularly enjoy the dessert. The plates here say "Thank You" in different languages which was unique and cute!
