4 months agoEquipment is well maintained even if it's a small gym over packed, i mean half the gym, the other half is just cardio machines nobody uses. Please don't answer your usual stuff, that i can reach the front desk or talk to the team manager because I'll come back and take off all the stars left.

a month agoPlanet Fitness at York Gate Mall is a pretty good gym overall. It’s very spacious, which makes working out comfortable, and the vibe is positive—most people are focused on their workouts and seem motivated to get in shape. The staff are nice, though a little reserved, but helpful when needed. Crowd-wise, it’s not overwhelming, and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Based on my experience, it’s definitely not a bad gym—in fact, I’d say it’s a solid and exceptional spot to work out.

a month agoLast night experience Planet Fitness in North York I went around 3:00 only about five people in the gym it was nice and quiet. Place was clean staff are friendly.

2 months agoI cancelled my membership in person several months ago at this location. I even signed the cancellation on their electronic screen at the front desk. Despite that, they keep charging my bank account every month. I have tried to contact them multiple times, but they completely ignore emails and calls. I’m not even living in Canada at the moment, that’s why I cancelled my membership in the first place! This is extremely unprofessional and feels like they’re intentionally ignoring cancellation requests while continuing to charge people. I’ve now had to contact my bank, Consumer Protection Ontario, and Planet Fitness Canada corporate to stop this. If you’re thinking of joining this gym, be very careful, cancelling is a nightmare.

a year agoIt’s now my fifth visit here and I love this location! As a Black Card member I am trying out the various PF locations in the city. This location is large, not overly crowded and has lots of equipment in good condition. On top of that, the staff are absolutely amazing! I dropped my ring while working out and one of the staff members literally moved equipped and got on the ground to help me find it. He found it! I’m forever grateful.
