I had dinner at Osteria Giulia and it was such a beautiful experience. The food was refined and delicious, with a real focus on seafood and fresh flavors. The atmosphere felt elegant yet comfortable, and the service was top-notch. Portions aren’t huge, but everything was perfectly prepared. Definitely worth it for a special night out! 🌟🍝🥂

Osteria Giulia is a masterclass in modern Italian fine dining—and its Michelin star (2023) is completely deserved. The food is nothing short of exceptional, with each dish crafted with precision, balance, and bold simplicity. There’s a quiet confidence in the kitchen that you can taste. The ambience is small, intimate, and beautifully designed—a perfect blend of refined elegance and coastal Italian warmth. It feels upscale without being showy. Service was flawless—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. From the sommelier pairings to the timing of each course, everything was executed with precision. Osteria Giulia isn’t just a great Italian restaurant—it’s one of Toronto’s very best, period. An unforgettable dining experience.

The perfect spot for a special occasion! We tried some amazing dishes like hand braided pasta with wild squid and ravioli filled with lobster and prawns. The endive salad was a great starter, and the Mille feuille with coconut and passion fruit was a unique and tasty dessert. Osteria Giulia’s dishes are masterly crafted with high quality ingredients. It was a pleasure to dine there, and I would definitely return for a special occasion.

We finally managed to get a reservation at this much-hyped Michelin Star restaurant, and honestly, it left us wondering what all the fuss is about. The ambience was definitely beautiful, with a well-designed interior and a nice vibe but it was surprisingly noisy, which made it hard to enjoy a relaxed conversation. As for the food, it was pretty average. Nothing particularly memorable or unique, especially for a Michelin Star spot. The presentation was also quite basic something you’d expect from a regular restaurant, not one with such acclaim. On the plus side, the service was good. The hosts were attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. All in all, it was a decent experience, but given how hard it is to book a table here, we expected more. It just didn’t live up to the hype. Wouldn’t visit again. I echo some of the sentiments shared in other reviews. This restaurant doesn’t quite meet the standard one would expect from a Michelin Star establishment. It seems the distinction is being handed out a bit too generously these days

Really liked the lamb chops! The pesto pasta wasn't very nice, it was very hard when eating. The fish and lobster were good as well but the fish was a bit chewy. They had a special cheese with caviar and honey, that appetizer is highly recommended! It tastes very unique.
