2 months agoHad my birthday dinner here and everything was so perfect. Staff were really nice and friendly. Big shout out to the staff! The food was beyond delicious. Ordered couple of dishes and they were all perfect. My own favourites were the coconut shrimp and sea bass. We had a great time here. For sure gonna come back anytime!

in the last weekThe best single word review I can think of for this place is: wow. As a European, Cajun cuisine isn’t very ubiquitous where I live. I really wanted to try it out, and it is now one of my favorites :-) The food here is simply delicious. It is superb. The sauces are so nice, you could spend an evening just dipping bread in them. The fish is heavenly, the meats tender and spiced perfectly. The staff takes pride in their work and the owner especially is really nice. They made the whole experience extra enjoyable. Finally, don’t let the simple front of the restaurant fool you. Behind the door hides a small but very cosy and nicely decorated place. Neat and tidy with a great atmosphere. If I’m ever back in Toronto, I’m going again. The thought that I might not eat here again makes me sad.

2 weeks agoWe celebrated my husband’s birthday last night at New Orleans Seafood and Steakhouse in Toronto, and the experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, owner Mike and his wonderful staff made us feel like VIPs. Every dish—from appetizers and soups to the fresh bread and main courses—was exceptional. My husband even called it the best birthday meal he’s ever had. The only downside is that it’s a five-hour drive from home, but honestly, it’s worth every mile. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!

2 months agoThis place is a hidden gem 💎 If you're looking for: ✅ Good food ✅ Cozy ambience ✅ Fantastic service then this is a great place for you to try! We had very tasty crab cakes (one of the best I've ever had) along with the gumbo to start (which was pretty good too). And we shared the paella for two, which was filled with lots of fish, chicken, sausage, muscle and more (did not finish it 🤤). With so much good food the highlight was the total experience brought to us by the host - who was kind, funny, and dedicated to serving everyone with the best experience. I learned that the married couple, and co-owners, have been operating this business for 29 years. It was special to learn about their story and have a lovely dinner here. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed

2 months agoReally liked the vibe and decor of this restaurant. It is like an old fashioned restaurant but in the best way possible, like getting complimentary warm bread and butter before the meal. It is the small stuff that makes the difference. The steak I ordered was so tender and all the food seemed thoughtfully made. And staff was really making sure we were having a good time and accommodating us. Will come back for sure!
