2 months agoToo loud and busy if you want to have a nice brunch. On top of that, food is not even up to expectations. Asked for a medium steak and got a brown piece of steak well done that tastes like a salt bomb. Chicken and waffles were socking in the pool of syrup. Extra salty and not so crispy chicken FYI. Waitress seemed to bust to care when she just finished her line on checking in then left without any conversation. It happened so fast that I felt like a ghost just stopped by our table. When all the feedback was shared at the end, we were offered a small discount for the food. If you want some simple egg dishes and cheap drinks, go ahead. Don’t go for the mains that costs 35 dollars. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY :) FYI attached some well done meat and additional fat for reference

Each dish was expertly crafted, bursting with flavor and showcasing a variety of culinary techniques that made every bite a delight. The generous portions left us feeling satisfied without being overwhelmed. Everything from the ambiance to the service contributed to an unforgettable birthday celebration. If I had the chance to celebrate another birthday tomorrow, I would absolutely choose to return to this fantastic restaurant, as it truly made my special day memorable!

2 months agoThis spot has been a beloved Toronto brunch staple for years. It’s nothing fancy, but it nails all the essentials: hearty portions, affordable prices, and consistently delicious food. The breakfast potatoes are legendary—get the BBQ sauce on the side or slathered on, depending on your vibe. After 15 years of visits, I’ve yet to have a bad meal.

4 months agoFirst timers here. Going to Lee's for a concert. Booked a reservation prior to the show. Fantastic table right in the window. Our server was great, friendly and helped me decide on one of the 3 choices I was very interested in. Cobb Salad, Korean Chicken sandwich or Shrimp Po Boy sandwich. Ended up with the Korean Chicken Sandwich. Hubby got the Steak Frites and we started with the pea & potato croquettes. Highly recommend everything!! Everything was so tasty and delicious. Cooked to PERFECTION. Drinks are great too. We loved the Ol Fashioned and Mules. Yum. Can't wait to return and try some of my other choices.

5 months agoDid not enjoy brunch here. Got the Memphis Benedict (pulled pork) and Chicken waffles. The chicken-waffles had a LOT of chicken, which was nice. Sadly, the entire dish was slathered with syrup, which made the dish sickly sweet. Additionally, it caused the waffles to get super soggy. I really wish they gave the syrup on the side so one can choose the amount they’d want on top. The dish also needs something to cut the sweetness- the slaw on the side is a decent idea, but that too was floating in the syrup and thus just sweet. The Benedict itself was nice, especially the pulled pork. I didn’t enjoy the potatoes on the side though. Although the server mentioned that potatoes come covered in a “special” sauce, it once again was too sweet - ketchup + BBQ sauce. I don’t think I was able to eat more than a couple of pieces sadly. Huge portions, but unbalanced plates in terms of flavour profile. Wouldn’t go back EDIT- they reached out and showed good customer service
