3 weeks agoOverall the food was nice and service was attentive Gyoza - not bad but not great. Not sure what about it made it lacklustre but perhaps it was the dumpling wrapper or the flavour. It wasn’t as good as I’ve had elsewhere. Beef Tataki & tuna avocado - pretty good, would order again. Tempura - loved! Super crispy. We tried both the assorted tempura and the shrimp tempura. Nigiri Sushi Dinner - The dish was beautifully presented, fish tasted fresh and loved that the server told us what each piece was. This came with a small side salad and miso soup. Lots of options to try. Worth a visit!

a week agoWe ordered sashimi sushi dinner, orangeville roll, and rainbow roll. The food was really decent and fresh, some tasted better than others, but a little on the pricy end (there is a otoro special that we also wanted to try but didn’t due to price) Out of everything though, the atmosphere is the best. We were seated in a small booth and it felt so nice! Would recommend!

a month agoDecided to try a new sushi place on UberEats and extremely glad we gave Gurume a try. Sashimi was fresh, not fish at all and all the toppings that came with it paired really nicely. Sushi was good, rice was perfectly spider roll was delicious. What we got: Spider roll Sashimi and sushi for 2 (comes with 2x soup and salad)

3 weeks agoLunch time, and I had a hankering. Gurame Sushi is our sushi spot now. 4th visit and it's conclusive.. There is no need to go anywhere else in the city for sushi for us anymore. I just went for a double portion of spicy salmon maki, i skip the wasabi, but go for the soy sauce and pickled ginger. Im telling you its a wee holiday. That's what this is. If you live close, and haven't tried yet, you'll love it, trust me.

4 months agoVery cozy and homey restaurant. I went with some friends after exams and the miso soup was a very comforting ☺️ appetizer. Lunch specials🍣 were absolutely worth the price especially for broke students👌🏼. We all practically devoured our food and left with a full stomach. Food service was quick and the waitress was so sweet🥹🫶🏼. The chefs were also very nice. The mini iPad in the cubicle was also a nice touch. Makes it more organized when splitting a bill with friends.
