in the last weekRan is one of those rare people who make the gym feel like a better place just by being there. He always brings a positive vibe whether it’s a friendly smile, a quick encouraging word, or just the way he carries himself. His energy is uplifting and contagious. Good job Ran!

3 months agoThis is supposed to be a premium gym and for the amount of money that they charge they should have better equipment. I’ve visited some fit4less and they have newer equipment than this location. Treadmills are constantly broken, not one but many. One time I counted more than 10 broken treadmills. Other equipment is also very ancient. I’ve visited other locations where equipment is top notch. Cleanliness of this place has also dropped. The cleaning crew at night time only clean the floors in the change rooms. I’ve seen it. They don’t clean the toilets or the urinals. They’re all yellow and now the change room smells like a homeless shelter. The people at the front desk are nice tho.

2 months agoThe GoodLife Fitness at Dufferin and Finch has easily become my most visited location over the last six months—it’s a well-rounded location, does get a little busy sometime but usually start dying down after 10. Over the past couple of months, I’ve started exploring other locations across North York, but I keep coming back here because of how solid and conveniently placed this location is. Huge shout-out to Moony and Brandon—they’re usually working the evening shift, and I genuinely look forward to seeing them. They bring great energy, are always respectful, and go above and beyond to make sure members are taken care of. I’ve seen firsthand how they treat everyone with kindness and professionalism while also putting in the extra work to keep the space clean and welcoming. The gym itself is well-kept. There’s a clean, multi-level layout—downstairs you’ll find the change rooms, pool, sauna (shared, which is a bit different), hot tub, and a stretching room. Upstairs is where all the main equipment is, and there’s usually more than enough space to get a solid workout in. Clean gym, great staff, and a positive atmosphere—couldn’t ask for more. 5/5!

a month agoI’m a long time member. Lately I use swimming pool most of the time. I understand there is a difference in age and culture. There are simple rules for all and most of the people follow the rules, but every time someone ruined the pleasure of enjoying the facilities. I wonder why the staff can’t enforce those who break the rules or just tell people to use swim suit and not to use the pool in street attire.

a month agoI’ve paid approximately $5,000 for personal training sessions at GoodLife, and I kept my membership active—even during periods I wasn’t attending—specifically to preserve those sessions. I was not “under the impression” about this; I was explicitly told by the former Manager that I could use the sessions whenever I was ready. When I tried to explain my situation, I was told that I had simply misunderstood—that I was "under the impression." This response was not only dismissive, but it also ignored the fact that I received direct and specific guidance from your own management team. Even your current Store Manager recently acknowledged that the former Manager created problems for many members, she confirmed that I’m not the only one affected. Despite this, GoodLife has refused to reinstate my sessions or offer any resolution, stating they expired. This response completely disregards the role of employee miscommunication in the issue. This is not a small misunderstanding—it involves over $5,000 and continued membership dues that I’ve paid in good faith. I am very disappointed that GoodLife has failed to take responsibility or offer any form of fair solution.
