This restaurant has mastered the power of scarcity. Serving for only a couple of hours at lunchtime, with space for ten people inside and a dozen more outside. People will start lining up 45 minutes before opening and with thirty minutes to go the line will extend to far more people than they can accommodate with their first round. But it's worth the inconvenience. The team are wonderfully friendly for a group of people who are clearly harried by the tension between the volume of success they're enjoying and the constraints placed upon them by the space they inhabit. And they're making some of the best pasta I've had in years. I had the tagliatelle al ragu with some extraordinarily fresh asparagus on the side and a small bottle of chilled red wine. In a way that I hadn't enjoyed since actually visiting Italy, it's simple food using high quality ingredients and prepared with care. And it's all the more delicious for it. The tiramisu is also unmissable - don't sleep on dessert.

High quality pasta house in Toronto with a few options to enjoy either on location or take out. Due to the limited hours and smaller location, we opted to take out. Would recommend an early arrival as there’s a line before 12 noon. Both Ravioli dishes were splendid and highly recommended - add Truffle where possible. The mozzarella ball was meaty and flavourful, went very well with their house bread. We loved the tiramisu; ingredient quality was high and worth the treat. We look forward to our next visit.

We have been waiting for this place for a while and glad we could make it down. Showed up at 11am, an hour before opening. By 11:15 there were 7 people ahead of us. Food is top notch. We ordered Ravioli in the butter and reggiano sauce. Ravioli in the Rosso sauce. And the Tagliatelle in the Ragu sauce. We ordered the Fior Di Latte and the tiramisu. We could tell the staff there work with so much passion. Got to chat with one of the workers, asked how I could volunteer my time to learn how to prep. Would love a cook book or class one day. One day. Love the butter and reggiano sauce (in Bianco) was sooo good. Excited to come back and try a different pasta sets.

So went on a Wednesday for lunch. Opens at noon. Only 3 2 seat tables and 1 4 seat for dine in. A few outdoor tables. Get there early if you want to dine in or be prepared for takeout. Single line for dine in, take out and take home. Don’t be out off. Staff were super friendly and food was amazing. Fresh. Well made and tasty. A fun experience.

First visit. I got in line ~45min before opening and was eating about 1h15 later, so be sure you’re dressed for the weather. You can see the team making shapes by hand and stirring sauce behind the counter. Merch is on the wall opposite, and a few tiny tables squeezed into a corner. I had cavatelli, perfectly cooked and spice level pleasant but not overwhelming. Tiramisu cup exceeded expectations. Given that you’re basically eating in a factory, lunch is more on pricey side than “budget”, but at one of their restaurant partners I expect I’d see fine dining prices. I will add that the service was both efficient and affable, from explaining menu and retail options to ensuring best experience with frozen goods on a sunny day. The hours, wait, and location would keep me from visiting for dine-in regularly, but I hope to someday return prepared to drag home a few frozen goods :)
