Went for the first time with a few friends and we loved it! I’m trying to get back to spin and I had such a great time, we took Evan’s strength class. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! Overall it was such a great experience! The layout, the vibes, and the environment was great! Thank you CycleBar I will definitely be back!

Now I must say the worst place to go… think before you join….so much attitude….omggg…. Nothing to say… God bless!! whatever I said are 100% true… I am extremely disappointed with the way my membership cancellation request was handled at Cyclebar. I initially froze my membership in November, and when I decided to cancel in February due to personal reasons, I was unexpectedly charged $171 for March, despite not intending to use the facility. Being forced to pay for a service I won’t use is incredibly frustrating. If I had been clearly informed that I would still be required to pay a monthly fee even while my account was frozen, I would have cancelled it in November. I was not clear of that. This policy feels misleading and unfair, especially compared to other Canadian fitness centers that offer a more transparent "cancel anytime" approach and flexibility. Looks like Cyclebar does not prioritize customer satisfaction. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to any CycleBar location. Please be cautious before signing up and go through all details before having membership. Some staff members are very disrespectful and Unhelpful. .update:...I have attached a photo what she said ..( u only mentioned “upon return members have to pay”) but I sent you a cancellation request. Anyways explaining to someone who knows everything but pretends to know nothing is pointless.

I am pretty astonished at the number of 5 star ratings for this cycle franchise. As a certified instructor and someone who is a real spinning enthusiast I was hoping this place would be unique and high quality. Sadly it is more CYCLETAINMENT than anything else! The profiles (cycling sessions) that I have seen all involve the use of an extra set of weighted bars that they put near the front of the bike in what looks like ABS drain pipes. Aside from the usual task of spinning they ask the attendees to grab these bars and extend them away from their bodies and then retract them back and forth and at some point rotate your body to the right and left with the weighted bars in hand extended away from your body. Aside from the fact that this weighted bar is very very close to your adjacent cyclist you are trying to do these exercises while seated on a bike. I cannot recall if people still were spinning at the same time. But regardless this type of addition to basic cycling is way way outside the usual ascribed routines on a bike. The cert course I took did not allow people to do NON CYCLING moves while on the bike. These were contraindicated. This kind of non cycling manoeuvres include push ups (which cycle bar does) and "wiper blade" movement and of course these bars being thrust forward and sideways. You cannot effectively do pushups on a bike never mind end up monkeying with centre of gravity and stability. The geometry of the bike in a spin class is designed around resistance for leg muscles:quads, hamstring, calf and glutes not arms. The one class I did attend I definitely injured my shoulder extending that weight away from my body. I would suggest people be cautious about this kind of move. Indeed the instructor herself was actually OFF THE BIKE while doing this bar extension move while the rest of us were sitting on a bike. An article by self.com and Spin instructors delves into the issues with pushups on a bike. This is the very reason CYCLE BAR has its own "self certification" since they do these non standard moves. While the location of this place is great and there's lots of parking and during my ride plenty of empty bikes there's some things people should be aware of. One... the price per session can be around $25 for a single 45 minute class. That adds up pretty fast if you do multiple sessions per week even if you get the bulk pricing. Considering a full membership at a gym can be anywhere from $50-$100 per month and you get a whole gym including bikes, pool, sauna, weights, showers, changeroom and machines and even other classes you have to wonder if this is a good deal. I don't think so. Two... these bikes are made by Stages which went bankrupt mid 2024 and were subsequently bought out by Giant Bikes. As such there still seems to be issues with parts and service on these bikes. The one I was on certainly had an issue with the crank arms being a bit loose/gappy. Not really smooth when standing. As well these bikes have lots of electronics and there is a big time delay between adding resistance an it actually showing up on the computer. Maybe 10-15 or more seconds. While these are sleek looking bikes and they do have bluetooth connections to a central computer so you can get a printout of how well you did they have a rotary knob to add resistance which is less precise than others such as the Keisers with levers. Keep in mind Cyclebar is a franchise entity so you can see how well they do in various markets with basic research. There are negative articles noting some franchisees who went bust or closed down some locations. Just search it out. If you want CYCLE TAINMENT (flashing lights, dark lighting) and don't mind doing non cycling moves that may put you at risk of injury and have tons of cash you may find this place inspirational. Some people, myself included, do like inspiring music and even lights when appropriate BUT if you want to improve both aerobic and anaerobic strength you should seek out legit places that stick to tried and true methods of working out.

Cyclebar is THE best spin studio I've been to. The instructor, Andrea, has a great energy and guides you perfectly if you're new. They have a device to help you make sure you have the correct speed and gear. Playlist rocks. The space between the stations is great, lots of breathing room. And they have a cute surprise for you when they show you around. The front staff are also one of the nicest front staff around. You will rock your ride.
