2 weeks agoWhat a charming restaurant. Great ambiance when you enter. Wonderful upscale touches throughout. Great menu. Highly recommend the fondue for an appetizer. We also got the poutine...they have a little different twist on it . So so good! Our food was good. The steak was covered in a sauce which we were are not quite accustomed to and in our opinion the meat could have used a little more seasoning. The fish tacos were marvelous. The slaw on the fish taco is the best I have tasted. It added great flavor and texture to the taco. The fish in the taco was well seasoned and succulent. They have the best coffee and some really nice desserts. We enjoyed this establishment.

6 months agoAbsolutely loved our visit. We stopped for dinner a few days ago. Everything was great, from the service to the food. Especially I would love to highlight the service- Our server, Kelly, was absolutely awesome!! She constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendation on a great selection of beers and food was amazing. Prices are moderate, considering the quality and service. Highly recommended!

2 months agoA cozy place in downtown Toronto. The atmosphere was great and so the waiter. I really like the concept of the bistro. It Is more a restaurant than a bistro. I would not come for the food only but in combination with the beer it is awesome. The really care about the beer and it is Czech guy approved. I liked the Scottich whiskey barrel aged ale. The foam was superb. Considering we are overseas it was like a miracle!

8 months agoReally enjoyed my dinner. Ordered the Bay St burger and it was delicious and juicy. A bit on the hot spicy side. Burger had a nice thick slice of bacon! I tried the Fruli beer - loved it! Very fruity which is the type of beer I like. Next time I’ll ask staff to help me pair my beer with my meal. Fishing my meal with the chocolate mouse. Very rich and just the right amount. I’ll definitely be back. And service was perfect. I did go just before the place got filled up. So might be slower service when very busy.
