a year agoFantastic neighborhood gym with great staff and very friendly atmosphere. If you’re in the midtown Toronto area, please go take a peek, you will not be disappointed! Clean, well ventilated, and well equipped workout space is what I’d describe the gym as. The gym itself is a huge space for materializing your preferred workouts, any time if the day. The fact that this space is accesible 24/7x, there’s really no excuse to not be here. A must have membership for beginners if you’re getting into personal training lessons for your basic skill level. A perfect spot for an advanced lifter. Everyone is welcome. -Shaggy C.

5 months agoComing from Quebec, I always find it refreshing how friendly and welcoming Ontarians are. Dropped in for a day pass while in Toronto and loved the atmosphere. Powerlifting equipment was on point. Monday workout complete. Will definitely be back!

3 years agoBack Alley Barbell is a great little nook to book a sweat. Primarily focused on weight lifting, free weights, and mobility. They've got a decent size turf in the middle of the gym to sled pull. The owners are wonderful and considerate and I see myself coming often to lay some good foundations for strength training.

a year agoGreat environment and space to lift for beginners to elites! Equipment is top-notch, and they are never satisfied - they continuously add new pieces to add further variation to your training and programming. Also (and potentially most importantly), they always have something at the front desk to address those sweet tooth cravings!
